The choices are tough, but try not to vote on how fast he can play. There are other aspects of being a guitar virtuoso than sheer speed! Think of how his style was copied by other players, for instance. Have Fun! |

Honourable mention to guitarist Randy Bachman of the 'Guess Who' and Bachman Turner Overdrive (BTO), some of the tastiest guitar licks ever performed on songs like'American women' and 'No time', and with BTO ''Taking care of business', a very full career 4 sure |

Randy Bachman of the band 'Guess Who' is , in my opinion one of the top ten guitarist 20th century, 'American woman', 'Undon' , to his BTO days, 'Taking care of business' and 'Aint seen nothing yet', show the range of this great guitarist. |

Some one passed over the greatist guitarist of the 20th century, yes it's Peter Townsend of The Who, he should clearly be in the top ten! |

Eddie Van halen is a one powercord guitar hack, I think the greatist guitarist mantel should be for the creative and inovative players like Page, Hendrix and the Edge |
