Your valedictorian speeches are very impressive. I won't leak anything, but I was impressed at the people the students chose to quote. I think these are very believable choices. You hit it bang on! I think Archavillia is one of the best concepts for a television series I've ever heard.

Best of luck!

Graduation season is upon us. One of the age-old traditions of graduation
is the valedictorian speech. Usually they're full of hope for the future,
mixed in with a tinge of sadness, a time to say and good bye to schoolmates you may never see again. Often, there are quotes from some of the great minds of the past.

Imagine what a valedictorian speech will be like hundreds of years from now. What great quotes from the 20th century do you think will find their way into valedictorian speeches of the future? Who do you think will be
remembered hundreds of years from now? Who do you think made the world a better place to be? Will the Rolling Stones be remembered in hundreds of years? The Beatles? How about U2? Is it likely that somebody in 2361 will quote a lyric from a U2 song in a valedictorian speech, or quote something Bono said?

Which of these musical groups do you think are most likely to be quoted by valedictorians of the future?

PLEASE NOTE: We've added valedictorian speeches to the site. They're audio files so you can actually listen to two valedictorian speeches from the future, one from the class of 2360 and one from the class of 2361! VERY COOL! You can hear them by going back to the main Archivillia site. Click the link in the top left hand corner of this bulletin board, or just click the link below:
